Information

Arrowhead Landfill is a 976.5 acre Subtitle D landfill located in central Alabama (see the link to the permit on the right side of the this page). Arrowhead Landfill is designed and permitted to be one of the largest commercial landfills in the United States. The site is permitted to receive a maximum of 15,000 tons per day of MSW, C&D, Industrial and Special Residual wastes from all states east of the Mississippi River, those states bordered by the Mississippi River, and Texas.

Arrowhead Landfill is located in Central Alabama on State Route 80. The site is about 75 miles West of Montgomery and 80 miles Southwest of
Birmingham. The landfill is on the Norfolk Southern Rail fast track line with direct access to the site via 4 miles of dedicated rail siding. The
site is strategically located on the rail road, providing direct access to the Northeast and Louisiana waste markets. The landfill is also
located 20 miles from Demopolis docks on the Tombigbee River and will be able to receive waste by barge service via Mobile.

Arrowhead Landfill is a $58 million state-of-the-art green-field facility with no expense spared in engineering, consulting, construction or operations. All deliveries are photographed and daily disposal
locations are marked by GPS technology, a first in the business.
